Little Marie's Life in Jamaica is a nonfiction children's book about a little girl name Marie (our author many moons ago) who was born in the US Virgin Islands and moved with her mom to her home country of Jamaica with their family there. This story covers their family culture, highlights of Marie's childhood, relationships, hobbies, and family dynamics. The story also highlights the travail of navigating a large and blended family. It compares and contrasts life in the city as opposed to in the country. But Little Marie's Life in Jamaica is both intriguing and colorful: And It is the author's hope that this book will bring joy to the children who read it. She encourages children everywhere to read as much and as often as possible.
